“You have beautiful skin! How old are you…. You must be in your 20’s?” Said a nice woman I was chatting with just recently.
That is just what every 34 year old woman wants to hear right?
I have three
teenage little girls that need dressed and hair “did up” in the morning which leaves me with a washed face, pony tail, and maybe (if I am lucky) a coat of mascara.
As I delved deeper into the oil world I found how the properties in myrrh may help with chapped skin and wrinkles.
What’s that? You said wrinkles? You bet.
Even better is Sacred Frankincense. Young Living’s Sacred Frankincense is the first to be available outside of Saudi royals. It is the rarest in existence. It has been and continues to be studied for it’s role in healthy cellular function and various healing properties.
Why would I not want to use this oil if it promotes healthy skin and healthy cells in my body?
Enter in my one and only beauty routine that makes me feel like I am 20 something…..
Seriously my skin glows. I feel confident enough to not have to wear any make-up as long as I have this on my face. I was using this all winter and never had that dull pasty winter skin. Amen to that sister!Plus I have noticed those things called wrinkles have diminished a bit. And another Amen! Hallelujah! My skin just feels and looks healthier than ever.
An added bonus to this skin cream is that it is great for your entire upper body. Remember how I said Young Living’s Sacred Frankincense is studied for its role in healthy cell function? Well, I use it on my neck and chest area (making sure to massage it into the lymph nodes) to support the ta-ta’s too.
This recipe is too good to keep to myself and I am excited to share it with all you lovely ladies. I bet mom would love this for Mother’s Day!
Hey Gourgeous Skin Cream
½ cup unrefined organic coconut oil
20 drops of Myrrh
20 drops of Sacred Frankincense
As extra sun protection add 15 drops of Carrot Seed oil
Mix together and store it in a small mason jar or other glass jar.
Coconut oil already has a low SPF of 5 but I may add carrot seed to the recipe for the summer months. Carrot Seed oil has a natural SPF of 30-40
